Mazda is going to show off its latest concept car called Mazda Taiki at 2008 Beijing International Motor Show. If you are looking at the curvaceous shape of Mazda Taiki, then you should understand the statement of “inspired by the shape and flow of the wind”. The challenge of this concept car is to design a car that visually expresses the flow of the air and atmosphere (called Taiki in Japanese).

The Jaguar E Type was launched in 1961 in Geneva and remained in production until 1973. Over 30 years later it still tops most polls as one of the most beautiful cars ever made. The Jaguar E-Type is probably the most recognizable and coveted classic car ever made and the first choice for a classic open-top weekend getaway.
The Great Escape Jaguar E-Type is a 1973 V12 convertible with manual gearbox.

The price: $15,000 – $20,000. Fuel Consumption: at least 29 miles per gallon. The car: the 2010 Toyota Corolla.
The Toyota has always been a favorite purchase of many Americans, owing to the reliability of the car, the passable design which isn’t too bad, but isn’t too flashy either. The Toyota has always been a no-nonsense car for people who are just concerned about getting from one place to the next. There are no significant changes to this model, a few improvements here and there, but that is all. But that isn’t a bad thing at all – if it ain’t broke, why fix it seems to be Toyota’s motto at the moment. The only downside to this car is that the usual standards for other models like power locks and power windows, along with remote locks, are not included in the entry levels.

The future of automotive technologies has again shifted from the powerful engines of tomorrow to the small yet efficient cars of today. The recent oil crisis had automotive manufacturers scrambling for the smallest and most efficient engines they can find, focusing their energy on coming out with smaller and more efficient cars for the drivers of tomorrow. There was a time when oil was so plentiful that everybody wanted the biggest and baddest engines they could find, even making them more powerful with mods that took them to dizzying speeds. Oil has always been known to be a non-renewable resource and with dwindling supplies comes the question what will we be using to power our cars when it does run out.
From hydrogen gas, methanol, ethanol, bio diesel and even plain old air, everybody is out for the next revolution in engine technology. New generation batteries that are more efficient are already on the roads replacing the dirty and polluting lead-acid batteries we are all using. The future is coming and we are running out of time, just hope the innovations come in time to save the earth for it’s the only one we have.

The looks of cars are evolving into ones that fit their owners like those projector headlights that beam ultra-bright HID light onto the road, they are all signs of the times in the future of the machine that is the automobile. Car designers have been constantly trying to outdo themselves and some of the most prominent innovations in design can be see in the frontal view. The grille has been a major part of luxury car makers such as BMW and others while others simply have a logo. This design feature makes a bee-mer recognizable at a glance making it one of the most recognizable designs of the auto industry. Mercedes large and bold glistening logo is also a trademark design that says who he is as well as the silver Jaguar on a Jag says it all and so on and so forth.
Cars of today are looking more aggressive with sharp lights and frontal features making them more appealing to the younger generation who are getting into them faster that they used to. The car is being made into an extension of the person driving it which might be the trend of the future for we do spend a lot of time in them as we drive through time…………………… and more traffic.
